Practice Environment

This opportunity is based within a collaborative Hospital Medicine program serving Central Georgia and surrounding regional communities. APPs work closely alongside supervising physicians, nursing leadership, consulting specialists, and ancillary support teams in a structured inpatient care environment focused on efficient throughput and quality patient outcomes.

Clinical Scope

• Inpatient Hospital Medicine coverage
• Daily rounding responsibilities
• Approximately 16–18 patients rounded on daily
• Admissions and inpatient management
• Collaboration with physician hospitalists and specialty consultants
• Documentation and order entry within Cerner EMR
• Cross-functional inpatient care coordination

Candidate Requirements

• Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Active Georgia License or ability to obtain
• Hospitalist/Inpatient Medicine experience required
• BLS Certification
• Prior inpatient rounding and admissions experience strongly preferred
• Comfortable practicing within collaborative physician-led inpatient models
