CT Technologist

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAt the direction of a radiologist operates computed tomography (CT) and related equipment.Performs CT studies according to specific guidelines, prescribed protocols and utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures.Reviews images; archives with associated patient data.Interacts with imaging personnel, nursing and medical staff, patients and visitors.Performs other duties as assigned.EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: None.EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: A minimum of 1 year of current clinical experience in diagnostic radiology is preferred.Clinical student experience may be considered in lieu of one year of current clinical experience.EDUCATION REQUIRED: Post high school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.EDUCATION PREFEERED:1-2 years of college/university coursework and/or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare related field is preferred.TRAINING REQUIRED: None.TRAINING PREFEERED: None.SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED: None.SPECIAL SKILLS PREFEERED: None.LICENSURE REQUIRED: ARRT registered RT (R) in diagnostic radiology and current State of WI license as a Radiographer is required.
