Ultrasound TechnologistAn exciting permanent opportunity has opened for an experienced Ultrasound Technologist (also known as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) with an area healthcare client where you'll use your expertise to operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce high quality images that are used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions.Minimum Requirements:National certification in specialty from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). Vascular registration (ARDMS or CCI) required.Clinical experience performing both general and vascular ultrasound examinations required.Graduate from an accredited diagnostic ultrasound technology program.Maintain required certifications, registries, annual physical exam, TB screening, and infection control in-service as requested.Valid driver's license and ability to drive company-provided vehicle. Perform exams using portable sonographic equipment and obtain diagnostic, technically competent images.Verify physician orders against the patient chart before performing exams. Use two patient identifiers for patient verification.Rely on facility staff for patient transfers and positioning when required. Do not perform transfers beyond scope.Digitally send exams to radiologist for interpretation and scan related paperwork/billing daily per protocol.Maintain vehicle, equipment, professional appearance (company uniform and name tag), and carry company phone. Respond to urgent communications within 15 minutes.Attend required meetings, train other technologists as assigned, and complete required documentation and credential submission when requested.Comply with drug-free workplace policy and report changes to criminal background status.Work Conditions and Physical Demands:Lifting equipment bag of approximately 18–20 pounds into/out of vehicle and placing into wheeled cart. Pull wheeled cart up to 250 feet with initiating force ~10 lbs and sustained force 5–8 lbs.Work performed in various client facilities.
