Job Title: Physical Therapy - PT THER (Travel) Job ID: 1416769 Overview We are looking for a Physical Therapist (PT) for an immediate travel opening in McKinney, TX. The right PT should have 1 year of experience; for an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background, 6 months of experience may be accepted. Responsibilities Evaluate, develop and execute a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting. Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians). Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility. Understand and comply with respective PT board rules and state regulations. Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team‑focused plan of care. Understand adaptive equipment. Evaluate and create a plan of care; modify plan of care as indicated based on patient’s condition. Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks. Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines. Requirements 6 months of experience; new graduates encouraged to apply. BLS and state‑specific licensing required. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology. Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. One year of experience preferred; six months acceptable for exceptional candidates. Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment. Job Details Duration: 26 weeks Schedule: 40 hours per week, 8‑hour shifts.
