About the Position

Job Title: CT Scan Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x9-Hour; Day 1x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 9 hours (07:00 - 16:30) and 12 hours (07:00 - 20:30) Experience: 1 year preferred License: Must have current state license in hand at the time of start Certifications: BLS, ARRT RT (R), ARRT Advanced Cert. Must-Have: Siemens Experience, Pediatric Experience, Trauma Level 1 Experience Description: CT Scan Tech position available in a pediatric setting. Shifts will be Monday-Wednesday from 7 AM to 4:30 PM and Thursday from 7 AM to 8:30 PM. On-call requirements are not applicable. The daily caseload per tech is 1.5:1. Candidates must have excellent skills in pediatrics and be independent daily. Experience with Siemens equipment is a must. All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission. Guaranteed hours include the possibility of the facility calling off 1 shift every 2 weeks. Experience in trauma and children's hospitals is preferred. Candidates must have experience in performing various scan procedures including abdomen, chest, pelvis without and/or with contrast, and more. This position requires interaction with neonates, infants, adolescents, and pediatric patients. The daily census is approximately 10. Candidates must be aware that during hurricane season, all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams. It is important to ensure compliance with all necessary documentation and requirements prior to the start date.
