Position at Nuvance Health Med Practice PC Certified Nurse Midwife, Rhinebeck, NY - up to $20,000 in sign-on bonuses! Northern Dutchess Hospital of Nuvance Health, proudly joining Northwell Health, is seeking an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife to join our successful and growing OB/GYN group. We are a collaborative Midwife/OB-GYN team providing care to a diverse patient population that draws from multiple counties in the Hudson Valley. We currently have five midwives in the practice and are seeking to increase staffing to seven. Our goal is to provide 24/7 midwifery coverage alongside our physician colleagues. The ideal candidate is dedicated to the midwifery model of patient empowerment, and to providing full scope care that is grounded in compassion and shared decision making. A full-time full scope midwife will work two clinic days and one 24-hour call shift per week (80 hours per two week pay period). Weekends and holidays are shared amongst the group. The ideal candidate will be a team player, have excellent communication skills, easily establish rapport and trust with patients and families, is committed to evidence-based care and practices, and values working with a diverse patient population. We are seeking a candidate that is reliable and adaptable and has a high level of clinical competence, compassion and empathy, commitment to patient education, cultural sensitivity, excellent interdisciplinary collaboration skills, and passion for lifelong learning and professional development. We have practice offices located in Poughkeepsie, Fishkill and Highland and work alongside seven board certified physicians. The practice admits exclusively to Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. Our busy Labor and Delivery Unit sees about 2,800 babies born each year. We have a level III NICU staffed by neonatologists, as well as an excellent Perinatology program. In addition, we have fellowship trained breast surgeons and GYN-oncologists that are located on the Vassar Hospital campus.

Compensation: $130,000 - $200,000 annually, relative to experience.
