Job Summary:
Step Down Unit Registered Nurse (RN) position in a healthcare facility located in the area. The role involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients transitioning from intensive care to lower acuity levels. The nurse will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care for various medical conditions.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license in the state of practice, completion of profile in the organizations system, at least 1 year of experience working in a step down unit or similar setting, capable of managing a surgical patient population and telemetry.
• Preferred Qualifications: Extensive experience with surgical patient population and telemetry, ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The assignment duration is from 10/04/2026 to 01/02/2027, with longer contracts available for September starts. Candidates must have successfully completed the organizations skills checklist and possess professional references as outlined in the submission requirements.
