Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Valid Florida driver's license Possess certifications as required by FDLE’s Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission and any other certificates mandated by county, state, or local statutes. Must successfully pass background check, psychological evaluation, physical abilities test, drug screen, and oral interview board(s). Preferred: A minimum of a two-year community college degree or vocational school training in police science, law enforcement, criminal justice administration, public administration, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
