Confidential Healthcare Organization in the Northeast Indiana(near Ohio Border) has an Immediate opening for a Full Time Maintenance Director. Must have experience with healthcare facility maintenance -- long term care preferred. The position available is Full-Time, Monday – Friday, with an 8-hour weekday shift. Must be willing to take emergency calls.

Salary: $55,000-62,000 depending on Relevant Experience, Plus Benefits

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Director:

• Maintain the orderly functioning of all equipment in the facility including plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems
• Purchase necessary supplies for repairs, maintenance and emergencies within budgetary guidelines
• Assure the proper maintenance and running condition of all appliances and machinery, laundry equipment, forced air units, air handlers, boilers and heating units in the boiler
• Check and replace air filters in all units in the building and on the roof
• Supervise all repairs, construction, renovation, and remodeling
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and procedures.
• Implement a preventative maintenance program

Qualifications of the Maintenance Director:

• Experience as a Maintenance Director preferred
• Experience in a Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing facility or hospital is preferred
• HVAC Experience
• A high school diploma or G.E.D is preferred
• Must have a valid Indiana Driver’s License and the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Report
• Be able to lift, push, bend, stoop, crawl, squat, crouch, kneel, climb and go up and down stairs and move equipment, supplies, linens, etc., in excess of fifty (50) pounds as required
• Must have good problem-solving and trouble-shooting abilities
• Must have a clean criminal background and be willing to undergo federal and state background checks, including fingerprinting
• Be personable and professional with residents, families and staff
