Manufacturing Quality Assurance Specialist (Metrology & SPC)

What a day looks likeYou arrive, open Epicor, and review the day’s builds. Your first task: compare engineering drawings and schematics to parts from the line. With micrometers and gauges in hand, you verify critical dimensions, log results, and flag anything that isn’t tracking to blueprint specifications. Mid-morning, you run a nondestructive test to confirm material characteristics and then schedule a destructive test to validate life and performance. In the afternoon, you transform raw numbers into charts and reports, using statistical quality control to confirm processes are in control—or to spotlight deviations from standards for quick correction.
