Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
• Coordinate care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment
• Maintain patient safety and comfort and respond to changes in condition as part of perioperative care
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately to support continuity of care

Requirements

• Active California RN license
• OR/perioperative nursing experience preferred
• BLS certification (basic life support)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced perioperative environment
• Ability to complete credentialing and onboarding requirements
• Availability to work 8-hour daytime shifts and fulfill the 40-hour weekly schedule
