Nurse Manager - Mental Health Inpatient Treatment Services

As the Nurse Manager , you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth medical operation of our inpatient services . This is not a sit-behind-the-desk leadership position-we're looking for someone who's ready to  roll up their sleeves, step in where needed, and lead by example . You'll work closely with staff and clients to foster a supportive, team-oriented environment while maintaining high-quality care standards.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and oversight to nursing staff across all levels of care.

• Hire, onboard, train, and evaluate nursing team members.

• Ensure compliance with  OMHSAS and  The Joint Commission standards.

• Develop and maintain nursing policies, procedures, and best practices.

• Oversee medication management, infection control, and clinical documentation.

• Monitor quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.

• Collaborate with the clinical leadership team to promote a safe and therapeutic environment.

• Serve as a resource and mentor for nursing staff.

• Leadership with a hands-on approach - You won't just delegate; you'll jump in and help wherever needed.

• Leadership experience - Prior experience in a leadership role within the  mental health treatment space is strongly preferred.

• Team builder - You know how to foster collaboration and create a positive, supportive work culture.

• Adaptability & problem-solving skills - No two days are the same, and you need to be ready for anything.

• Strong communication skills - Able to give and receive feedback with an open mind.

• Growth mindset - Willing to learn, evolve, and develop in your role.

• On-call availability - A commitment to being there when your team and clients need you

Qualifications:

• Active  nursing license in PA.

• Minimum 4   years of nursing leadership experience , with at least 2 years in a behavioral health treatment setting .

• Strong knowledge of  OMHSAS and  Joint Commission compliance requirements.

• Proven ability to recruit, lead, and manage a nursing team.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
