Overview TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Indianapolis, Indiana. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 36 Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel We\'re looking for Respiratory Care professionals for an immediate travel position opening in Indianapolis, IN. The right RT should have 1 year of recent acute care experience. Read below for more requirements. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide direct patient care to patients in a variety of clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments according to procedural guidelines. Responsibilities Administer to patients a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities. Maintain appropriate patient records/documentation. Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories. Evaluate equipment for proper and safe function. Report malfunctions to director. Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedure guidelines. Interact with co-workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care for patients being treated. Respond to emergent situations that could require respiratory support. Qualifications Experience: 1 year of relevant acute care experience Certifications: BLS, ACLS; PALS and NRP may be required in some areas NBRC certification and other requirements as specified by location Must have 1 year of experience.
