Certified Medical Assistant Lead

Your future role at a glance Location: Evansville, IN Facility: Ascension St. Vincent Evansville Department/Specialty: Physician Support | Internal Medicine Residency Schedule: Full Time Days | 40 hours per week | 7:30am to 4:00pm How you'll make an impact in this role Job Summary: Lead assigned staff in performing activities or tasks in support of physician practice operations. Responsibilities: Lead or coordinate shift operations of assigned activities, resources, and/or associates. Serve as a technical or functional resource and performs similar duties with staff. Assign, monitor, and review progress of work. Monitor and report compliance with policies and/or procedures. Oversee and evaluate orientation and training of assigned associates. May provide input in the review and evaluation of staff performance. Inventory clinical supplies and place supply orders to maintain desired levels. Receive and organize the handling of medication samples. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Medical Assistant obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. What additional requirements you'll need Prefer at least 2 years CMA experience in a clinic.
