Industriousness, innovation, excellence, respect, compassion, and collaboration drive our team in everything we do.Job DescriptionPosition: Night Shift Auditor (3-days per week)Reports To: Assistant General ManagerCollaborates With: General ManagerPOSITION PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES: The Night Shift Auditor works to support BryantCorp's vision of building better communities through beautiful spaces. The Night Shift Auditor assists the hotel General Manager, and Assistant General Manager to accomplish the goals of the company. As a Night Shift Auditor performs end-of-the-day accounting tasks and overnight front desk duties. Night Shift Auditor will assist late-night guests, process check-ins, and check-outs, and address other customer requests. The Night Shift Auditor will also audit, reconcile, and balance daily financial activities. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness, and work with a minimum of supervisionPrevious customer service experience is required. Previous experience in a similar position or within a hotel is preferred.Excellent communication skills both verbal and non-verbal.A guest service-oriented demeanour is required. Candidate should be willing to go above and beyond for our guests and have a professional, positive attitude.Excellent phone and computer skills.Previous cash handling experiences preferred.High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.Experienced in a hotel setting. Front Desk/Hotel Night Audit required.3-days per week, must be able to work weekends and holidays PRINCIPLE JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This position is responsible for:Timely response to guest requests in a friendly and professional manner. Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction.Always provides a professional image through appearance, dress, and attitude.Able to multi-task & prioritize.Greet guests and complete the registration/check-in process to include, but not limited to, inputting and retrieving information from the computer, confirmation of guest information and room rate, selection of rooms, coding electronic keys, and ensuring guests know the location of their room.Assist guests with check-out including, but not limited to, ensuring rooms and services are correctly accounted.Complete daily checklists and ensure that each task is completed.Prepares checkout billing.Posts room taxes and charges.Prepares daily reports and summary cash balances.Ability to stand for long periods (min of 8 hours)Accommodate guest special requests courteously.Responsible for knowing hotel emergency procedures.Other duties as requested by the Assistant General Manager and General Manager BryantCorp is an equal-opportunity employer.
