Compensation Class A: Up to $30.05 Class B: Up to $27.20 Join Our Team Seeking a Skilled Fleet Diesel Mechanic for Coach USA’s HudsonLink service. The service provides more than 500,000 passenger rides per year between Rockland County and Westchester County. If you are passionate about keeping buses running smoothly and ensuring passenger safety, we want you on board. Job Summary Diesel Mechanic – Full‑time – Paramus, NJ Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and other breakdowns using diagnostic tools. Remove, install, disassemble, and recondition diesel engine components. Conduct routine and preventative maintenance according to manufacturer specifications. Uphold quality assurance standards and complete test drives to ensure repaired vehicles run correctly and safely. Write detailed inspection reports and maintain electronic maintenance logs. Adhere to workplace safety policies and maintain a clean, safe work environment. Qualifications Solid background in diesel mechanics; experience with Cummins and Detroit engines. ASE Diesel Certification or an associate degree in diesel technology preferred. Willingness to obtain a CDL. Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills. Computer diagnostic skills a plus. Ability to work in all weather conditions and availability for weekends and holidays as required. Independent toolkit and experience in the motor coach industry preferred.
