Job Description

The Behavioral Health Quality Care Specialist provides direct care, behavioral health support, mentoring, supervision, life-skills coaching, and community-based support to youth in a residential setting. This position is ideal for an individual who is passionate about helping youth overcome barriers, develop independence, and transition successfully into adulthood.

The Behavioral Health Quality Care Specialist serves as a positive role model while emphasizing behavioral modeling with the goal of contributing to a safe, respectful, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and supportive residential environment.

The Behavioral Health Quality Care Specialist supports independent skill building while encouraging accountability and contribution to household responsibilities, meal planning, environmental organization, and personal care.

Core Responsibilities:

• Maintain a safe environment
• Promote residential accountability while maintaining a supportive approach.
• Conduct required wellness and safety checks.
• Follow residential policies and procedures while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries at all times.
• Adhere to youth protective standards and mandatory reporting requirements.

Position Requirements:

Must be 1st Aid/CPR certified. Must possess a valid Driver's License. Must be Reliable & Dependable. Drug & Smoke-free. Possess Problem-solving Ability. Adhere to Code of Ethics & Conduct. Work well Independently. Team Player. Compassionate yet ability to Implement Policy & Procedure Consistently. Must place Safety as Top Priority at all times. Prefer Experience in Trauma-informed Care & Person-Centered De-escalation, Verbal Intervention, and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training Modalities. Must meet all training standards.

This position is OPEN to fill Part-time and Full-time Shifts.
