Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Licensed Massage Therapist based in Jonesboro/Paragould, AR. The Licensed Massage Therapist will provide therapeutic massage sessions tailored to each client’s physical and emotional needs, using modalities such as Swedish, deep tissue, Shiatsu, or other appropriate techniques. Responsibilities include conducting thorough client intakes, maintaining accurate and confidential treatment notes, and collaborating with the wellness and counseling teams to support trauma-informed, holistic care. The therapist will help clients manage stress, tension, and somatic symptoms, while maintaining a calm, professional, and compassionate presence. Additional day-to-day tasks include preparing and maintaining treatment rooms, following hygiene and safety protocols, recommending self-care practices, and supporting a welcoming, client-centered environment. Qualifications Strong therapeutic bodywork skills, including Therapeutic Massage and Body Massage, with the ability to adapt techniques to individual needs. Experience or training in specific modalities such as Shiatsu or other complementary massage techniques. Ability to support client Stress Management through somatic awareness, relaxation techniques, and mindful pacing of sessions. Demonstrated Customer Service skills, with a calm, trauma-informed, and empathetic approach to client interaction. Current state licensure as a Massage Therapist in Arkansas (or eligibility to obtain), and up-to-date professional liability insurance. Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality, professional boundaries, and high ethical standards. Comfort working in a holistic, mental-health–adjacent setting, with interest in trauma-informed and nervous-system–aware bodywork. Ability to work full time on-site in Jonesboro, AR, including some evenings or weekends as needed.
