Contract | Night Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit serving an adult patient population
• Manage post-surgical patients presenting with diagnoses including abdominal pain, cholelithiasis, osteoarthritis, fractures, back pain, and bariatric surgery
• Operate specialty equipment including IV pumps, nasogastric tubes, and feeding tubes
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State RN License (verified and in good standing)
• Current AHA BLS Certification
• Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR
• Completed skills checklist matching Medical/Surgical specialty

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for post-surgical and bariatric patient populations
• Familiarity with nasogastric tubes, feeding tubes, and IV pump management
• Experience with block scheduling in a hospital setting
