Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Job Description

Job Summary:

Provides specialized telemetry nursing care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. Responsible for assessing patient conditions, implementing care plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' health status through continuous monitoring and evaluation of telemetry data.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to cardiac patients' needs.
• Administer medications and treatments safely, adhering to clinical protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions and follow-up care.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff, ensuring compliance with standards of care.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license for the practicing state.
• Minimum of two years recent experience in telemetry or acute care nursing.
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
• EPIC electronic health record system experience required.
• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills.
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
