Technician, Pilot Plant IV ( 2nd shift)

Pilot plant technician position on the second shift responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment. Role involves process execution under supervision, quality monitoring, documentation compliance, and cGMP adherence.
Responsibilities
- Set up, clean, and maintain pilot plant equipment per departmental procedures
- Execute manufacturing processes under supervisory guidance and consult staff when issues arise
- Monitor and document product and process quality characteristics per cGMP guidelines
- Maintain safe and clean work environment and identify safety concerns
- Prepare accurate material and equipment status reports during shift handoffs
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic technical or mechanical background and knowledge
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions
- Intermediate mathematical competency with decimals, fractions, and algebraic concepts
- Writing proficiency to document process deviations and mistakes
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in scientific field (desirable)
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing tools and safety devices (desired)
