Project Manager

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support utility capital delivery and construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing project budgets, forecasts, schedules, risks, and cross-functional stakeholders .

Pay Range: $55-57/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Location: Syracuse, NY (Hybrid 2-3 Days/week)

Duration: 12-month

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage project budgets, monthly forecasts, accruals, and financial controls.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and milestones.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to permitting, materials, resources, contracts, cost, and delivery.
• Coordinate internal teams, contractors, engineering, operations, and other stakeholders.
• Track project KPIs, reporting, performance, and fiscal-year targets.
• Lead project meetings and resolve issues impacting project delivery.
• Maintain project information in Procore and schedules in Primavera P6 .
• Drive process improvements and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Project Management experience.
• Experience in utility, construction, engineering, infrastructure, or capital delivery projects.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and risk management experience.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Utility Operations, or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.

Preferred:

• Utility industry experience.
• Construction capital delivery experience.
• Experience with Primavera P6, Procore, and FutureNow .
• Experience managing large, complex projects and contractor relationships.
