About Our Agency

I opened my agency in 1973, beginning my career as a State Farm agent right out of college. Originally from Louisiana, I've spent decades building an agency rooted in relationships, consistency, and teamwork. Today, our office includes 16 team members, and State Farm truly runs in the family my children are also State Farm agents, and I'm a proud grandparent to four grandchildren. Faith and service are important to me, and I remain very involved in my church, which strongly influences the values we bring into the workplace. For our team, we offer a Simple IRA, health benefits, licensing reimbursement, and a family-oriented environment that prioritizes respect and collaboration. Our office culture is drama-free, team-focused, and built around working together and supporting one another in a large, connected office setting. Role Description

Dennis Chaumont - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member. Our ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to contributing to a positive and productive workplace. Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
• Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
• Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
• Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
• Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
• Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Compensation: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
