Your impact We are seeking an experienced and collaborative Design Manager to support the management and delivery of water infrastructure projects in New England. Our design managers lead the scoping, planning, and execution of projects, ensuring both quality and financial performance. Bring your project management experience, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced design environment, and technical expertise—and we’ll provide exciting opportunities to grow professionally and make a meaningful impact.What You'll Do:Project and design planning, execution, and closeout, consistent with Jacobs’ established project delivery processes, to meet scope, schedule, budget, and contract requirementsBe accountable for successfully completing projects to the satisfaction of clients and key stakeholders, while ensuring Jacobs’ expectations are met in quality, financial performance, project delivery, and risk managementContribute to the development of the New England Water Market by delivering innovative, technology-driven solutions for our clientsProvide staffing and completion forecasts to Group Leaders and Managers of ProjectsMentor and support less experienced staff to help them grow into future Project/Design Managers. Here's what you'll need BS or MS Degree in an engineering discipline with a focus on water/wastewater systems and infrastructure.Minimum 10 years engineering design experience in the water/wastewater field.PE License in MA, NH, RI, or CT or ability to obtain within 6 months.Ideally, you'll also have:Experience with the design of water treatment plants and/or wastewater treatment plants greater than 20-mgd.Demonstrated project experience in the New England Water Market.Construction observation/management and field start-up services experience.Experience with Alternative Delivery, including Design-Build and/or CMAR.#LI-TG3Our health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
