Overview Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated and well-rounded Human Resources Generalist / Administrative Specialist to support both the strategic and administrative functions of the Human Resources department. This role plays a critical part in fostering a positive employee experience while ensuring efficient HR operations. The position is responsible for a broad range of HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, and HR record management. The ideal candidate is highly organized, approachable, and able to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion. Qualifications Associate’s orBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred 5–10 years of progressive HR experience; experience in manufacturing or engineering environments preferred Strong knowledge of HR best practices and applicable employment laws Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage confidential information with discretion Proficiencyin HR Information Systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with leadership and employees Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Onboarding Manage and support full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and offer coordination Serve as a point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process Prepare onboarding documentation and conduct or coordinate new employee orientation Ensure a smooth and welcoming onboarding experience for new hires Employee Records & HR Administration Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee personnel files (digital and physical) Ensure compliance with data protection and record retention requirements Manage HRIS data entry, audits, and reporting Employee Relations Serve as a point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and HR-related inquiries Support a positive and productive work environment through clear communication and issue resolution Timekeeping & Benefits Support Assist in maintaining accurate timekeeping and Paid Time Off records Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and employee education Compliance & Policy Implementation Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations Assist with audits and compliance reviews Explain, and assist in updating HR policies and the employee handbook General HR Support Assist with special HR projects and initiatives and perform other related duties as assigned Benefits Paid Vacation Paid Personal Time 10 Paid Holidays 401(k) Savings Plan with a company match of 50% up to 6% Plus, a discretionary profit share / bonus Medical, Dental, Vision and Prescription Drug Benefits Health Savings Account Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Basic Life Insurance (company-paid) Optional Life Insurance (employee, spouse, children) Optional Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance Tuition Reimbursement Wellness Program and Discounts Employee Assistance Program #J-18808-Ljbffr
