RN Supervisor page is loaded## RN Supervisorlocations: 2500-Cape Coral Homestime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Yesterdayjob requisition id: R-449**Job Description:**Purpose:To oversee the administration and coordination of medical services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to enable them to maintain optimal health and wellbeing.Qualifications:* Must successfully complete the required pre-employment Background and Drug Screenings* Must possess a valid Driver's License which meets company standards for approved driver status* Must possess a current and valid Registered Nurse license* Must possess strong clinical skills with at least 3 year supervisory experience* Must possess basic computer skills* Experience working with people with intellectual/developmental disabilities is preferredEssential Functions:* Coordinates and oversees health services according to the individual’s plan ensuring each individual’s optimal health and wellbeing* Supervises nurses and CNAs and provides constructive feedback and training through positive interactions, role modeling, and mentoring* Creates a positive interacting team which collaboratively works with all disciplines* Ensures all documentation is completed according to regulatory requirements* Acts as liaison between hospitals and other medical professionals advocating for least restrictive measures and protection of rights* Performs all professional duties within the scope of licensure and in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act* Proficiency in the English language (both written and verbal) is required as this job entails direct care of adults and children receiving services. Employees are required to communicate, both orally and in writing, with staff and others regarding medical care, supports, and services. This requirement includes the ability to effectively communicate in English including medical terminology.* Performs all other duties as assignedThis position will remain open until filled.
