Level Up USA is looking for a Communications Specialist who is outgoing, creative, curious, and excited to be where the action is. This role is about much more than sitting behind a computer and writing emails. You’ll meet people, build relationships, capture real stories, support events, create content, and help bring the Level Up USA mission to life. What You’ll Do Be the face and voice of Level Up USA. Get out into the community and connect with participants, partners, staff, and supporters Build relationships and uncover the stories behind our work Attend events, programs, meetings, and community activities to capture content and share what’s happening Create fun, authentic social media content that gets people to stop scrolling Take photos and videos and turn real moments into compelling stories Help plan and promote events, campaigns, and special initiatives Work closely with team members to turn ideas into exciting communications Represent Level Up USA professionally and enthusiastically in person and online Help grow awareness, engagement, and excitement around our organization Keep our messaging fresh, consistent, and true to who we are You’ll Thrive Here If You… Are a people person who genuinely enjoys meeting and talking with others Are a strong writer who knows how to make information interesting Have great energy and aren’t afraid to jump into a new situation Can walk into a room and start a conversation Love storytelling, social media, events, and community engagement Are creative and always thinking of new ways to reach people Can balance several projects without losing your attention to detail Take initiative instead of waiting to be told what to do Care about making your work meaningful Why Level Up USA?
