Traveling Nuclear Medicine Tech

Nuclear Medicine Technologist Opportunity

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. The technologist will prepare and administer radioactive drugs, operate radiation detection and imaging equipment, and support diagnostic procedures including stress studies, HIDA, brain scans, and SPECT/CT imaging. Candidates will work within hospital protocols and communicate results to clinicians to support patient care.

Minimum Requirements

  • An associate or bachelor's degree in nuclear medicine technology or equivalent credential.
  • Current ARRT (N) or NMTCB (CNMT) certification.
  • Current state license to practice nuclear medicine in Colorado or eligible for licensure.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Minimum 6 months of current acute care nuclear medicine technologist experience required by client.
  • Experience operating GE cameras including GE 530c, GE 830, and GE 870 SPECT/CT.
  • Experience with Meditech EMR preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior Meditech experience.
  • Radiation experience and familiarity with radiation safety practices.
  • Flexibility to move between different cameras and locations.

Assignment Details

  • Shift hours: 07:00 - 16:30.
  • On-call required on weekends from 08:00 - 16:00.
