Electrical Helper

Electrician helpers will engage in commercial renovations and new build construction projects. They will be responsible for bending pipe and roughing in conduit based on plans and prints provided by the general contractor. In addition, they will assist commercial electricians in wiring instruments that control the power, lighting, and heating units in buildings, as well as providing wiring for air conditioning and refrigeration units.

Bend pipe and rough in conduit based on provided plans and prints.

Assist in wiring instruments for power, lighting, and heating control.

Provide wiring for air conditioning and refrigeration units.

Utilize power tools, test meters, pipe threaders, and conduit benders effectively.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical work (residential or commercial).

Safety-oriented and OSHA certified.

Proficient in conduit bending, wiring, and blueprint reading.

Strong timeliness and willingness to learn the trade.

Experience in pulling and running wire.

Experience in construction.

Familiarity with conduit systems.

Work in 2-4 man crews on projects. The position requires a 1st shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. All work is local to Rochester, involving commercial new builds or renovations.

This is a Permanent position based out of Rochester, NY. The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
