Transactional Associate Attorney - Multiple locations AL & FL

Associate AttorneyHand Arendall Harrison Sale LLC is looking for an experienced transactional attorney to add to our growing Firm. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong academic credentials and a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in real estate, business law, commercial transactions and/or community associations. This position is eligible to be located in any of the Firm Alabama or Florida offices.Essential Functions:Conducts legal researchIndependently drafts transactional documentsAttends client appointments independentlyLearns and understands client expectations and key department business goals and assists them in meeting those goalsHandles and actively seeks opportunities to become involved in special projects and on committeesCompletes all required administrative tasks including time reporting, closed cases, reports and other materials appropriate to performance of job dutiesEffectively makes use of technology and automation in the practice of lawAdheres to all standards of excellence in file managementTravels as required to meet business needsMaintains the integrity of the Firm and products offered by complying with federal and state regulations as well as company policies and procedures.May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Working Conditions:Normal professional office setting. Evening and/or weekend work. In State travel will be required.Typical Physical Needs:Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare and communicate appropriate reports.
