As a Security Officer - Part Time - Flexible in Walton KY this role is designed to provide reliable consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.95 / Hour

Day Time

03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (Anchor Shifts): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. Its all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility income stability and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to drivers visitors and personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures policies and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials and shipment-related access authorization and document visitor contractor and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-control incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points loading areas parking areas and the business perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports for access-control activity incidents deliveries and other site-specific documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
