What we’re seeking:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification or eligibility through a K-12 substitute license
• Documented experience working with students who have special needs and behavioral challenges
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with staff, students, and families
• Ability to adapt instruction and utilize Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Experience in a middle or high school classroom preferred

Key responsibilities:

• Provide direct specialized instruction and support to students in small group and inclusive classroom settings
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs with measurable goals and objectives
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
• Create a positive, structured learning environment that encourages student success and growth
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate progress to parents and school teams
