Project Coordinator / Estimator (Remote – Contractor, Part-Time) Location: Remote Eligible Locations: Open globally (location is flexible) Contract Type: Independent Contractor Openings: 1 About the Client Our client is a U.S.-based exterior construction company specializing in siding, windows, decking, and full building envelope projects. They are a small, hands‑on team focused on quality workmanship, efficiency, and clear project execution. Role Overview Our client is looking to hire a Project Coordinator / Estimator to support estimating and project coordination efforts. This is a new role and will start as part-time (approximately 20 hours per week) , with the potential to grow into a full‑time position over time. The main focus of this role is construction estimating, with additional project coordination and administrative support as needed. The ideal candidate has a construction background, is comfortable working independently, and can manage estimates and project information using digital tools. Key Responsibilities Prepare material and labor estimates for construction projects Review drawings, plans, and specifications to define scope and requirements Support project coordination tasks related to estimating and handoff Maintain organized project data and documentation Work with spreadsheets (Excel) and estimating software Communicate clearly with the hiring manager regarding estimates and project details Assist with additional coordination tasks as needed Requirements (Must-Haves) Previous experience in construction (estimating and/or project coordination) Experience using estimating software (specific tools can be trained) Strong computer skills, including Excel High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to work independently in a remote environment Clear communication skills Nice to Have Experience with exterior construction projects (siding, windows, decking, envelope) Familiarity with project tracking tools or CRMs Ability to improve or support internal processes Work Schedule & Flexibility Part‑time to start: ~20 hours per week Flexible working hours No fixed time zone requirement, as long as there is overlap for communication Potential to grow into a full‑time role in the future Compensation & Benefits Hourly rate in USD Flexible schedule For full‑time roles in the future: paid time off and U.S. holidays Hiring Process Recruiter interview + recorded video introduction Hiring manager interview Final decision #J-18808-Ljbffr Rad Hires, LLC
