Urgent need; candidate must be available to start ASAP. Providing quality health care while employing more than 1,000 staff members and 300 physicians. Fully accredited by The Joint Commission and governed by a local board. This facility has a total of 167 beds and holds Level III Trauma Center status. All clinical staff must undergo state-specific checks prior to assignment start date. This role is within the Behavioral Health Unit, which features a 12-bed facility. Patient ratios are 1:6, with a requirement to float to Med Surg if needed. The position involves treating patients with diagnoses such as Alzheimer's, behavioral disturbance, failure to thrive, depression, and suicidal ideation. Team-oriented candidates are preferred. Experience in geriatric psychiatric care and medical floor settings is preferred. Weekend hours required every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday).
