Therapy - RRT

Registered Respiratory TherapistPosition for Registered Respiratory Therapist in Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics. Experience in PICU and adult critical care is required. Shift is three 12-hour night shifts. Guaranteed hours: 36 hours for three 12-hour shifts. Weekend requirement is every third weekend. No on-call requirement. Floating within scope to meet facility needs is not required. Required skills include airway management, medication administration, and vent management. Experience in O2 therapy, suctioning, pulmonary toileting, nebulizer, and BiPAP/CPAP is mandatory. Experience with polysomnography and sleep studies is a plus. Familiarity with special equipment is an asset. Employee will work in a short-term acute care facility with a diverse patient age group. Daily patient census and visit details are included in the job responsibilities. This position requires commitment to high standards of patient care. Compliance with all job requirements is critical. All applicants must be able to provide proof of high school level education. Certifications must be active by the start date and cannot pend beyond the contract start.
