Prime Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in San Luis Obispo, California. Job Description & Requirements Specialty Stepdown Discipline RN Start Date 08/15/2026 Duration 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift 12 hours, days Employment Type Travel Description: Responsible for the planning, coordination, and provision of nursing care to patients in ICU, Step Down Unit, Med Surg, Day Stay Unit, PACU and ER. Responsible for maintaining competencies required for each of these units. Supervises and delegates care responsibilities to ancillary personnel commensurate with their scope of practice. Requirements This position is for an EPIC conversion. Candidates must have EPIC and Cerner experience within the last 5 years and have worked as an employee of an organization / successfully completed a contract. Each work history entry must list the charting system used. If multiple EMR systems are listed on one job, dates must be provided to clarify when each system was used. No RTO is allowed. The listed start date is firm. Day Shift 36 or 48 hours per week Auto Offer, EPIC Backfill. Must have current Epic experience. Education and Work Experience Associate Degree(A.S.) or equivalent: Required Bachelor's Degree in Nursing: Preferred Successful completion of Basic Dysrhythmia Course: Preferred Completion of Critical Care Course: Preferred Licenses/Certifications Current RN license in state of practice: Required Basic Life Support (BLS)? certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required Advanced Cardiovascular?
