Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg

Clinical Nurse – Nursing

Schedule: Nights 18:30 - 7:00, 3 - 12 hour shifts

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of experience working as a nurse in an acute or sub-acute facility.
• A valid, current, full and unrestricted Nursing License to practice nursing in any state of the United States, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
• Must have and maintain current valid certifications:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association
• Complete Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) within six months of hire
• National Institutes of Health (NIH) NIH Stroke Scale must be completed within 6 months of hire

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge and consideration of specific patient conditions and treatments.
• Work independently in completing assignments based on physician's orders and established standards of care.
• Provide support to individuals of all ages and their families regarding health care needs.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation occurs every 2 weeks.
• May accept COVID & flu exemptions after declination form is submitted.
• Housing application must be submitted 2 weeks prior to start.
