Job Opportunity – NICU Respiratory Therapist – Texas

Start Date: June 15, 2026
Location: Austin, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, rotating weekends, no call

Highlights:

• 13-week contract assignment in a Level III/IV NICU environment
• Night shift position with rotating weekends and no on-call requirements
• Work with specialized neonatal respiratory equipment including ventilators, oxygen delivery systems, and nebulizer treatments
• Collaborative respiratory care team supporting critically ill neonates
• Professional dress code provided – olive green tops with black bottoms
• Opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art neonatal intensive care setting

Requirements:

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification required
• NICU or PICU experience strongly preferred
• Experience with neonatal ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and nebulizer treatments
