Product Demonstrator Part Time

Responsibilities Associate is responsible for completing in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations. Acquires and maintains knowledge of products represented. Prepares, serves, and breaks down product, equipment, and supplies. Intercepts consumers and demonstrates products in a professional manner. Maintains overall professional appearance consistent with job requirements. Has the aptitude and ability to gain adequate product knowledge. Proactively intercepts, engages, interacts, and sells product to consumers in a positive manner. Effectively communicates product features and benefits. Prepares and serves food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives. Maintains a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals. Properly sets up and prepares the event table for execution. Achieves 100% execution on assigned work. Assists with preparation for client visits and completes audit corrections. Builds and maintains rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives. Completes expense reports in accordance with Company Policy. Accurately prepares and submits all online requirements on the same day as event execution. Accesses the internet, navigates company electronic systems, uses Microsoft Outlook, and views assigned documents such as Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF forms. This role is not expected to exceed more than 25 hours per week, although the company maintains discretion to change the role based on business needs and/or client requirements. Qualifications Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer Skills: Proficiency in using a personal computer or mobile device, navigating internal systems, and using applications such as Microsoft Outlook. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local food‑handler permit may be required. Physical Demands: Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach overhead up to 65 inches, talk and hear, read instructions, stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step ladder, balance, lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart fully laden with appliances, supplies and product, prepare foods and beverages using required appliances, and be in contact with cleaning supplies. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Work Environment: Retail store environment with limited travel. Physical Appearance: Must maintain a professional appearance and proper grooming, following retailer dress code requirements. Language Skills: English is primary; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
