Bemana is seeking an experienced Refrigerator Specialist in Lowell, MA to join a team, where you will play a vital role in maintaining critical process cooling for boron trichloride recovery. Operating in a high-tech chemical manufacturing environment, this position leverages your deep HVAC/R expertise to ensure the reliability and safety of ultra-low temperature systems. You will work directly with advanced cascade refrigeration units operating down to -128°F while receiving comprehensive on-the-job training on our unique facility protocols. Job Duties: Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting on industrial refrigeration equipment (compressors, evaporators, condensers, and heat exchangers). Maintain and operate cascade refrigeration units and Syltherm oil circulation systems running at ultra-low temperatures (-105°F to -128°F). Safely manage, recover, and recycle specialized industrial refrigerants, specifically R-404A and R-508B. Monitor roof-mounted refrigeration units, vapor expansion tanks, dehydrators, and control instrumentation to ensure continuous process cooling. Strictly adhere to safety and compliance protocols given the chemical processing environment involving boron trichloride. Job Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. EPA Universal Certification. 5+ years of experience in industrial refrigeration systems, including cascade and low-temperature equipment.
