Security Officer Armed Sector Patrol – Miami, FL As a Part‑Time Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security‑related incidents, and support daily operations with strong communication and customer service. Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $22.26 / Hour Job Schedule Saturday: 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM Sunday: 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and help verify authorized entry while maintaining awareness of public activity and supporting order throughout the location. Work closely with site contacts, law enforcement, and/or emergency personnel when needed, following post orders and Allied Universal standards. Minimum Requirements Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent. At least 1 year of armed security‑related, law enforcement, or military experience. Armed guard card or license. College degree. Proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client. At least 21 years of age. Corrections officer license. Law enforcement officer license. High school diploma or equivalent. Background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. Drug screen as permitted by law. Participation in industry‑specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
