This role is ideal for a creative and organized Social Media Manager who will establish and grow the club’s Instagram presence, promote monthly dance events across social platforms, and capture engaging event photography for use in social content. The position is hybrid, requiring local presence for event coverage and content creation, and is not suitable for those needing to travel from outside the area. Deliverables Create and manage an Instagram page for the club, ensuring consistent branding and messaging. Develop and execute monthly social media campaigns to promote upcoming ballroom dances. Attend monthly dance events to take high-quality photos for use in social posts and stories. Curate and schedule engaging content across relevant social media platforms. Monitor engagement metrics and adjust strategies to maximize reach and participation. Collaborate with club organizers to highlight special events, guest instructors, and community stories. Requirements Demonstrated experience managing social media accounts, preferably for events or nonprofit organizations. Strong photography skills with the ability to capture dynamic event moments. Proficiency in Instagram and other major social platforms. Excellent written communication and content creation abilities. Ability to work hybrid in Austin; must be available to attend monthly events in person. Creative mindset with attention to detail and a passion for community engagement.
