As a Security Officer Experienced Patrol Guard in New York, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a financial institution location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. In this unarmed patrol role, you will support daily operations with an agile, reliable, and innovative approach, while working as part of a caring team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify security-related concerns and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within the location to help support authorized entry, visitor processing, and adherence to site protocols.
• Prepare clear, timely reports related to patrol observations, incidents, and/or daily activities, and relay important information during shift transitions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
