Crisis Clinician -MCAT -MON-FRI 7AM-3:30PM

We provide evidence‑based treatment for adults, youth, and seniors and are committed to trauma‑informed care. Position Overview Crisis Clinician – Monday‑Friday7AM–3:30PM. Supports clients in emotional or behavioral health crises through phone triage, rapid response, crisis intervention, and stabilization services across the community. Core Responsibilities Provide phone triage, assessment, and de‑escalation services for individuals in crisis. Offer crisis and hospital diversion services to youth, adults, and families. Perform risk assessments for suicide and homicide, and consult with a supervisor or ClinicianII as needed. Collaborate with the Mobile Dispatch Unit to meet contract requirements and share high‑risk case results. Conduct face‑to‑face assessments for at‑risk individuals and create recovery/stabilization plans. Refer clients to community resources, including Medicaid enrollment assistance, Trueblood forensic programs, and substance‑use services. Follow up on referrals to ensure completion of services. Maintain accurate, confidential client records and required documentation. Assist clients with basic needs: emergency housing, medical services, medications, and financial assistance. Travel daily between locations in a company or personal vehicle, and occasionally visit clients in the community. Participate in supervision, peer review, and administrative meetings. Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health or a related field. Must obtain a Counselor Agency Affiliated – Registered credential from the Washington State Department of Health within 30 days of hire. Unrestricted valid driver’s license, acceptable motor‑vehicle screening, active car insurance, and willingness to use a personal vehicle. Working knowledge of all WAC and RCW requirements for Crisis and Involuntary Treatment Services. Strong engagement, customer‑service, and crisis‑management skills. Ability to manage 10–20 active cases independently. Demonstrated critical thinking, decision‑making, problem‑solving, and autonomy. Capability to remain calm and professional during escalated situations. Preferred At least two years of experience working with psychiatrically impaired populations. Physical and Environmental Demands The role requires daily travel, use of a computer, lifting 10–20pounds, and frequent vehicle entry/exit. The work setting can vary from residential to public streets and may present varying degrees of cleanliness. Pay and Benefits Hourly Pay: $25.89–$31.53, based on tenure.
