Job Description

• Create Tailored Treatment Approaches: Recognize individual patient needs and design personalized therapy plans to support them in accomplishing their functional objectives.
• Implement Therapeutic Practices: Apply evidence-based modalities to foster improvements in patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and everyday living tasks.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work in close partnership with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide training to patients and caregivers on therapy techniques to facilitate sustained progress at home.
• Track and Report Progress: Monitor patient outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure consistent advancement towards their goals.

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Encouragement and support for continuing education or post-graduate certifications.

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license is mandatory.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required.
