Search Consultant, Accounting and Finance Senior Accounting Analyst – Digital Assets Are you excited about the intersection of accounting and innovation? What You’ll Do Lead the monthly accounting close for one or more digital asset entities, including reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis. Track and record crypto asset transactions (purchases, sales, loans, transfers, token deals, etc.) with precision and accuracy. Ensure digital asset balances are properly reflected in the financial statements, including the balance sheet and P&L. Review data flows from blockchains and APIs, investigate anomalies, and provide clear supporting documentation. Evaluate contracts for financial obligations and unique terms impacting accounting treatment. Partner with finance, operations, and tax teams to ensure data accuracy and compliance with evolving accounting standards. Support audits, prepare schedules for tax filings, and respond to ad hoc requests. Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements to streamline workflows and improve controls. Stay current on developments in crypto accounting and draft technical memos as needed. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent preferred. 4+ years of accounting or financial reporting experience, ideally with exposure to trading, investments, or digital assets. Strong understanding of GAAP with the ability to navigate complex transactions. Working knowledge of cryptocurrency and blockchain mechanics (experience using block explorers a plus). Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, large data sets); SQL or Python familiarity is a plus. Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite is desirable. Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics clearly across teams. A self-starter mindset with the flexibility to adapt as priorities shift.
