Parkridge Medical Center, Per Diem CRNA opportunity in breathtaking Chattanooga, TN! Description Founded in 1971, Parkridge Medical Center offers compassionate care and advanced technology in a comfortable and convenient setting. The 275-bed hospital near downtown Chattanooga features comprehensive diagnostic and medical/surgical services, including cardiovascular surgery, cancer treatment, intensive care, orthopedic and spine surgery, and rehabilitation. As part of the Parkridge Health System, patients also have access to OB-GYN services, a level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and behavioral health treatment centers for children and adults.

Case Assignments: Orthopedic, general, GI, cardiac, pulmonary cases, endovascular, electrophysiology, neurosurgery, GYN and a small amount of pediatric anesthesia.

Shifts: Various schedules and shift available.

Team Highlights: 30 anesthesiologists and 100 CRNAs work together in a care team model. This care team model means that we focus on giving everyone a voice, while supporting, respecting, and helping them to deliver care excellence.

Responsibilities: Pre-anesthesia assessment, Obtains and/or verifies patient consent, Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient, Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia, Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition, Performance of clinical intervention as needed.

Requirements: Current license as a registered professional nurse, Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education, Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
