Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift: 4x10 hours (06:45 - 17:15) or 5x8 hours (06:45 - 15:15).

6-8 on-call shifts required per month; self-scheduling with rotating weeknights and weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in pediatric care to join our dynamic surgical team. The ideal candidate will possess scrub and circulate experience, particularly in a pediatric environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with surgical procedures for pediatric patients ages newborn to 17 years.
• Provide comprehensive pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
• Prepare and maintain the surgical environment, including sterilization of instruments.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of OR RN experience.
• Travel nursing experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• Pediatric-focused experience and women's specialty knowledge preferred.
• Active RN license in WV or pending license accepted.
