Practice Manager (30+ hrs/week)

Married Life Counseling is a growing, relationship-centered counseling practice serving couples, individuals, and families. Our mission is to help people build secure, loving, emotionally connected relationships—and we believe how we work together matters just as much as the work we do.

We are seeking a Practice Manager who brings warmth, organization, follow-through, and heart to our daily operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting a team, keeping systems running smoothly, and serving as a steady, focused, empathic presence in a meaningful workplace.

Schedule & Pay

30+ hours per week

Primarily in-office

$20/hour for first 90 days, increasing after successful review depending on experience

Consistent availability during business hours is required.

This position blends practice management, intake calls, administrative leadership, and executive assistant support for the practice owner. You will be the person who helps everyone feel more organized, supported, and cared for; one who asks “How can I help?” and then follows through promptly.

Key Responsibilities

Practice & Office Management

* “Own” the daily operations of the practice and office environment

* Maintain welcoming, orderly office (supplies, hospitality details)

* Coordinate light cleaning logistics and communicate with cleaning staff

* Manage office systems (music, décor updates, plants, holiday decor)

* Ensure consistency with schedules, checklists, and recurring responsibilities

Administrative Oversight

* Monitor calendars for clinicians and admin staff

* Track sessions, time off requests, and scheduling coverage

* Maintain company calendar and provide reminders as needed

* Assist with payroll prep, reports, invoices, receipts, and document organization

* Join weekly Team Meetings

* Keep Google Drive organized and intuitive (working collaboratively with leadership)

Team Support & Accountability

* Take notes during meetings and share summaries with the team

* Support nonclinical workflow and client-experience quality checks

* Help plan team socials

Intake & Communication

* Manage intake calls, scheduling, and client communication

* Maintain confidentiality at all times—for clients and internal business matters

Owner Support

* Serve as a reliable point-person for the owner’s business needs

* Capture ideas, emails, and “mental notes” and turn them into organized action

* Help anticipate business needs and reduce overwhelm through proactive support
