Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking New Jersey-licensed Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants for a locum tenens role in Plainsboro, New Jersey. This assignment involves providing emergency medicine coverage within a 34-bed emergency department at a community hospital, supporting a patient volume of approximately 2 patients per hour across multiple shifts, including day, night, and swing. The position offers a structured clinical environment with a focus on acute patient management and collaboration with hospital staff.

• Epic EMR system in use
• 34 emergency department beds
• ER volume: 50,364 annually
• Shifts: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., 6 p.m. to 4 a.m.
• No trauma designation

Schedule Details

• Shifts: day, night, swing
• 12 open shifts per month, scheduled as needed

Clinical Scope

• Evaluation, stabilization, and treatment of emergency patients
• Management of acute medical and traumatic conditions
• Collaboration with hospital staff and documentation in Epic EMR
• No trauma designation or scribe services involved

Requirements

• Active New Jersey Nurse Practitioner license
• NCCPA or NCCNP certification
• ACLS and PALS certifications
• 1-3 years of emergency medicine experience preferred
• Full privileges expected within 60 days
